Winter Swing time is a festival that wants to bring the community together during a weekend, around activities that will make us move, learn and reflect! A festival that wants to honor swing dances as african american artforms, deepens our knowledge about their context, and celebrates their richness! A festival that feels like the Lausanne community it was born in: cozy, welcoming and caring. Moments to share and learn, thanks to the Get Together, the discussion and the movie. Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz classes, but also « exploration » classes with amazing artists who share our values and vision. And last but not least, 3 evenings of LIVE music!
